LOCATION

Where are we ? We’re located in the popular beach resort of Palmanova, on the beautiful West coast of Mallorca. Less than 20 kms (20 minutes drive) from Palma airport and about 14 kms from the island’s cosmopolitan capital, Palma.

The Martinez Apartments, part of the Gabarda Complex, are situated at 350 metres (less than 5 minutes walk) from kilometres of white, sandy beach and crystal blue waters. In the immediate surrounding area, you will find a wide choice of cafes, bars, restaurants, shops, supermarkets. There are also pharmacies and medical centres almost on our doorstep. The public bus stop is about 200 metres away, as is the famous “PACHA Mallorca” night club. The lively night life in the nearby resort of Magalluf is just a 15-20 minute walk. For those clients that like to keep fit and enjoy sports, there are various sports amenities in the immediate area, including gyms, tennis, football, rugby…..

Completely renovated in 2009, the Martinez Apartments have an official 2 star rating, but are categorized as 3 star.

13 one-bedroomed apartments on 3 floors (no lifts) set in a charming building that is a favourite for many clients due to it’s intimate atmosphere.

All apartments are spacious and sleep up to 4 adults (3rd & 4th beds are sofa-beds in the lounge). The apartments consist of lounge, full American-style kitchen (including toaster and electric kettle), full bathroom with shower, bedroom and large balcony. The apartments all have air-conditioning & heating.

Maid service: Maid service is every other day with change of towels.

The Martinez has a 24 hour bar & lounge with satellite TV, 24 hour snack bar, swimming-pool & jacuzzi, sun terrace with sunbeds & shades, internet access, pool tables….. You will be taken care of by our attentive personnel; Boni during the day and the famous Geordie George to tuck you in of a night ! &, don’t forget, you can also enjoy the facilities and amenities at the Hotel Gabarda.

Just around the corner (25 metres), the Hotel Gabarda is where your 24 hour reception is located. The main receptionists, Tanya & Adele, are English, so you won’t have any problem being understood ! They are a mine of local information, and will act as your own, personal Tourist Information Centre. There are a variety of extra services available at the hotel eg, safe-deposit rental, 24 hour money-exchange, car-hire, excursions..


THE BREAKFAST EXPERIENCE

The choice is yours….. Although you have complete self-catering facilities, you can also book Bed & Breakfast. The Gabarda Complex breakfast is legendary. No other hotel of our category gives you a breakfast, freshly cooked to your order, like this. You have a choice of the famous “Full English” (made with British products), or, if you prefer a lighter breakfast, you can have either “Continental” style or cereals with fresh fruit. To maintain the prices as low as possible for you; the guest, the breakfast price does not include drinks. But at € 1,50 for a mug of English tea or an Espresso Late it’s not going to break the bank !
Breakfast is served either on the sun terrace or around the bar lounge. You can even take it up to your apartment if you want – It’s your holiday !

And here’s the best part…. Breakfast at the Martinez is served until 11.00 am. Enjoy a lie-in.
